What To Bring

We always do our best to accommodate visitors requests for tours even at the last minute. Most trips depart the Voyageur’s National Park Kabetogama Visitor Center but other arrangements for pickup and drop off can be made. We suggest rain gear even on days with no rain in the forecast. It’s always cooler on the water than you think so bring a sweatshirt or jacket. Camera, binoculars and bug repellant are all good choices.

There is plenty of room if you decide to bring a picnic basket or cooler. On tours where time is provided, food and drinks are served at Kettle Falls, Ash River and Crane Lake. We have many visitors with limited mobility and our trips do not require long walks. There are also frequent rest stops if necessary.

Please note that our route and stops may be adjusted because of weather issues and/or water level considerations. All reservations can be secured with a credit card but we appreciate payment at the end of your trip with cash or check. An ATM is available at our Base Camp office.

We have limited bookings so there are no refunds for cancellations or no shows by departure time.
