Kettle Falls Sunset Tour

This 5 hour trip includes all of the highlights of the Ellsworth Rock Garden Tour and visiting some of the most picturesque parts of the park including deboarding stops at I. W. Stevens Resort and Kettle Falls and a drift by stop at Hoist Bay. Weather and water levels permitting, we will venture into Gold Portage, view the Kabetogama estuary before we start toward Lost Bay, sneak into Lost Lake, hear about Tar Point, go behind Cemetery Island then through Squaw Narrows. For several miles we straddle the U.S. / Canadian border past Mica Island and finally slice through Squirrell Narrows before we stop at Kettle Falls. After reboarding, we will enter the main part of Namakan Lake past Mrs. Torey’s homestead on Kubel Island, around Namakan Island and into Hoist Bay for another stop. Our next leg brings us into Moose Bay, by Kabetogama Narrows and the Ash River Visitor Center then through the back channel to our home port. This is a rain or shine trip so please dress accordingly. Rest stops are no more than an hour apart and passports are not necessary.
