Here is what’s included in the program of this tour
This 6 hour trip is my most popular tour and encompasses the most scenic and historic areas of the park including lakes Kabetogama and Namakan. In addition to all the highlights included in the shorter trips this approximate 65 mile tour includes additional visits to Hoist Bay or Steven’s Island depending on weather and water conditions. Your guide also provides in depth insight into the people and history of Voyageurs National Park and the surrounding borderland area. The schedule usually includes time for a meal or picnic at Kettle Falls. In the event Kettle Falls small dining room is busy we recommend packing food and drink as a backup plan. There are picnic tables at all stops and you are welcome to eat and drink onboard. This is a rain or shine trip, so please dress accordingly. Also, please note that facility stops are approximately one hour apart, and although we flirt with the Canadian border for several miles on this tour, a passport is not necessary.
